A few tidbits

Here are a few highlights of about ten different packs that I went through. Not so many "hits" so to speak, but a few entertaining cards at least.


Like this one, Moose takes a Duece. It's a 2005 Bazooka card of Mike Mussina's 200th win.


2003 Fleer Tradition Update Diamond Debut, Jhonny Peralta #24 of 25.


2004 Fleer Platinum Mark Teixeira #53. I've kind of started a collection of Teixeira cards, and I don't have this one yet. It's a welcome addition to my fledgling collection.



2005 Bowman Arod subset/insert card something or other. It's numbered 96-AR.


2005 Bowman Barry Bonds #100. The card has a cool note on the back saying: "Facsimile signature is as appears on original (Rookie) Topps contract." I never knew that. I wonder if they do that for every player or just the elusive ones, like Bonds. Ya learn something knew everyday.


2006 Fleer Smoke 'n Heat Chris Carpenter #SH-2.



2006 Upper Deck Hot Stove Headlines #HS-12 Ken Griffey Jr.


Well that's that. I have a few more packs that I plan to do soon. I also have a box of Upper Deck History that I am expecting in the mail tomorrow. So the plan is for tomorrow (Thursday) probably around Midnight for a live box break. It should be sweet.
